Cockatrice Adopts [Sold! Thank You!]

Two new adopts for a species I have been futzing with for a little while now. I wanted to create my own interpretation of the cockatrice and I...think I succeeded?

Common Cockatrice Hen SOLD: Swift and agile predators, female cockatrice are not content in staying back at their nests tending to eggs, often joining in biweekly hunts. Differentiated from their male counterpart by their smaller heel spurs, hens still produce a venom potent enough to kill the average human. Whether or not they possess a higher level of intelligence is unknown, but some scientists are convinced their guttural clicks and hisses should be classified as a language.

Resplendent Cockatrice SOLD: Unlike the common cockatrice, the resplendent subspecies possesses massive, iridescent feathers often used in mating or territorial displays. Traveling in familial groups, hunting efforts are divided among the strongest members, and leaders often take to carrying sharpened spears to ensure success. Their feathers are often revered as priceless gifts, but whether they are procured humanely is a topic of much debate.
